I’ll be having an exhibition at Boris Zakkaten Gallery in Tokyo.
In 'Creatures and Curiosities,’ I have brought to life an eclectic array of beings—ancient creatures from Paleozoic seas, quirky monsters lacking strength, peculiar insects, and whimsical aquatic creatures and carnivorous plants that have taken up residence in a heart. Each of these wonders is crafted using soft sculpture, embroidery, punch needlework, and beadwork.
Here are just some of the artworks from my exhibition. There is lots of fun merchandise too!
この展覧会では、古生代の海の生物、あまり強くないユニークな怪獣、風変わりな昆虫、そして心臓に住み着いた気まぐれな水棲生物や食虫植物などの不思議なクリーチャーたちを、ソフトスカルプチャー、刺繍、パンチニードル、ビーズワークなどの技法で生き生きと表現しました。
